Battlefield Heroes Plane Tutorial and Tactics

Battlefield Heroes Plane Tutorial and Tactics

The best tip I can give about become a good BFH plane pilot is to practice a lot. In this short battlefield heroes plane tutorial you'll learn the basics of flying planes along with which settings you should use for the right BFH plane.

Battlefield Heroes Plane Tactics

I am by no means a very good pilot. I can fly around and kill tanks and jeeps, but when it comes to taking out infantry or other plane, I tend to fail epically. Here are the standard BFH plane attack tactics.

Strafe: This is where you fly the plane low or at a slight dive and shoot at whatever comes your way. This is effective against tanks (especially if they are going in the same direction as your plane) and jeeps (very quick to kill). The disadvantage to flying this way is that you are quite vulnerable to infantry fire and AA guns.

Dive: In order to dive, simply fly straight up and then straight down. Diving at full steam give you very little actual firing time and may require numerous passes to take out a tank. A little trick is to look back when flying up to get an idea of the enemies location.

Hover: This is a variation of the dive where you cut the engines at the top of the dive. This allows for a much longer firing run and can result in numerous kills. The challenge here is to position the plane directly above the enemy because the plane doesn't handle well at low speeds.

Wingclip: Thanks to the cartoony physics of battlefield heroes, you can bounce the plane on the ground and only suffer minor damage. Make sure you have at least 100hp before attempting a bounce. The trick is to hit infantry with the plane and you will get a wingclip. Watch the second video for some epic wingclips.
